MY LUND. ACRYLIC PAINTING ON CANVAS

WHAT: Find the essence of Lund for you and represent it visually trough an abstract acrylic painting on canvas.

STEP ONE

• Introduce the word "belonging" and ask the participants what this mean for them.

• Allow all the participants to define the word according to their feelings. 

• Inspire the participants using the questions you find in the link at the bottom of this page (click the button "ideas to inspire the participants).

• Follow the instructions

• Provided each participant with a sketchbook where they can write the answers and sketch according to the instruction

• Encourage the participants to sketch quickly without paying any attention to details.

STEP 2

• Show some pictures of abstract paintings that represent an abstract landscape of the town you are working with (in this case Lund)

• Let the participants analyze the paintings finding recognizable objects. We have used some paintings by GAN, a famous local painter active during the beginning of 1900.
